Prison Games Project

Bringing games and play to incarcerated populations.

The Prison Games Project is a collective of game makers creating playable zines for incarcerated people. We hope to distribute the magazine at no cost directly to people who are incarcerated in the US and Canada, and sell the magazine to non-incarcerated people who are interested in getting a booklet of games mailed to their door.

The zine will feature board games, thought exercises, and roleplaying games thoughtfully created by game designers in close consultation with advisors who have lived experience of incarceration to be playable within the strict limitations of the prison system.
